Agents in Green
IN September 2017, an article appeared in the Foreign Policy journal under the title 'The Next Wave of Extremists Will Be Green: Militant Environmentalism is Coming and We Aren't Ready For It'. The author, Jamie Bartlett, warned his readers that Western intelligence services must reduce their preoccupation with the likes of Al Qaeda and the Far Right and begin concentrating on so-called “eco-terrorism”. Whilst accepting that surveillance of this kind would harden the attitudes of those already involved in such activity - real or imagined, presumably - Bartlett argued that the next threat to civilisation would come from environmentalists and animal rights activists.
Curiously enough, the article appeared just eleven months prior to the foundation of Extinction Rebellion (ER). Indeed, although the latter is clearly an attempt by the secret state to attract the very people that it wants to keep an eye on, the group's modus operandi is clearly very tame when you compare it to the likes of Earth First or the Animal Liberation Front. It has, quite simply, been an utter failure and a significant number of people who were already active in some way have not been taken-in by what is clearly an attempt to co-opt and subsequently misdirect the wider Green movement.
I believe that the comparative ineffectuality of ER may eventually lead to the formation of a state pseudo-gang that essentially bombs its way to the negotiating table in the way that the 'approved' faction of the Irish Republican Army (IRA) did during the Blair administration. This would allow the Establishment to steer its demands in a particular direction and yet make it seem as though it were compromising at the same time. Make no mistake, if the globalists wish to roll-out its 'Fourth Industrial Revolution' through accelerationist means then ER's increasingly unpopular rabble of conscientious vicars and middle-class adventurers is simply not up to the task. It could, in short, lead to many of us uttering those fateful words: "Not in my name".
