It's Snow Laughing Matter
THE liberal-leftists at the Guardian newspaper run a regular art section called My Best Photograph, and one particular entry is a shot by Mikael Owunna entitled 'Four Queer Women Defying the Snow'. Taken in Brooklyn in 2017, the photo features four African lesbians who were determined to make a stand against White supremacy - even when it takes the form of a racist blizzard:
"If we think about what snow evokes, it is the West, Europe, the far north. Historically, these are spaces that have not been welcoming to Black people. They've been hostile, violent."
These girls are no snowflakes, as I'm sure you'll agree, and no doubt the money-power will be quaking in its boots at the sight of four lesbians freezing their arses off for the cause of Black liberation.
I have now been forced to accept that when Captain Lawrence Oates famously announced that he "may be some time" and went out to brave the Antarctic elements, his disappearance and inevitable death was an act of cultural appropriation and that only Black people can really be oppressed by snow. Similarly, ice cubes are an attempt to frame racism within the parameters of White discourse and Trotsky was not killed by an icepick - as reported by the supremacist media - but a toothpick borrowed from a Russian banquet. Even the common polar bear is an attempt to camouflage the race issue and stop people seeing the snow for the flakes.
Bing Crosby started all this, you know.
