Rebellion from the Depths

IT is rare for one of my fish to inadvertently butt the lid of the aquarium, but this was recently done twice in succession and has now led to a bizarre and slightly unnerving chorus of mass lid-thumping and synchronised splashing.

An escape plan is surely afoot. Either that, or they are trying to discover the secret behind the mysterious hand that bears the daily manna from heaven. I feel like the Wizard of Oz on the verge of exposure.
