The Kohelet Policy Forum and its Links to the American Right
ON January 6th, 2021, when a large rabble of Trumpist idiots gathered at the Capital building in Washington, few people were aware that a group of wealthy Jewish billionaires had financed the entire thing. In fact the same shadowy individuals continue to provide most of the funding for an Israeli organisation that is pushing Right-wing policies in Zionist-occupied Palestine.
The group in question, the Kohelet Policy Forum, was finally exposed in an Israeli newspaper and has been involved in overturning existing legislation relating to the illegal construction of new Jewish settlements on Arab land. The Kohelet Policy Forum managed to achieve this as early as 2012, even bringing about the 2018 Nation State Law that deprived Palestinians of their self-determination and, instead, made sure that it was solely reserved for Jews. According to Moshe Koppel, the group's chairman, “I don't want to sound arrogant, but in some sense we're the brains of the Israeli right wing.” Koppel even drafted the Nation State Law himself, some twenty years ago, and according to the group's website the
“Kohelet Policy Forum strives to secure Israel's future as the nation-state of the Jewish people, to strengthen representative democracy, and to broaden individual liberty and free-market principles in Israel.”
The Haaretz newspaper claims that the Kohelet Policy Forum's staff is as large as that of the largest academic college in the country. Indeed, the organisation regularly prepares statements for Right-wing members of the Israeli Knesset and even made it possible for former US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, to openly recognise the legality of new settlements.
The two principal characters in the Kohelet Policy Forum are billionaires Jeffrey Yass and Arthur Dantchik, both of whom fund the Right-wing of the American Republican Party to the tune of “tens of millions of dollars” and also ensure that money is pumped into America's endlessly credulous Far Right.
