Transgressive Realities
DOES the tree plunge into the warmth and wetness of the earth,
Or does its rise out of it, erect and empowered?
Has the virgin soil relinquished its innocence and worth,
Or has the purity of the blue sky been raped and deflowered?
Unless the Absolute is seen to violate the sanctity of revealed essence
In the way that solipsists discount everything beyond the parameters of ownness,
It is crucial to ascertain from this strange world a semblance of logic and good sense,
Lest we remain contingent afterthoughts of an immanentized thrownness.
