WHENEVER a giant, white die
Tumbles down the steep track,
One more face greets the sky and
The cube is quickly taken back.
Labouring like Sisyphus,
Who Camus named the “absurd hero,”
A man condemned to swear and cuss
From one to six, in search of zero.

Ludwig Wittgenstein argued with Camus about Sisyphus. Ludwig said we must imagine Sisyphus happy. Wittgenstein was an ex-hospital porter and I don't know if that influenced him. Richard Dawkins compared all "menial labourers" to Sisyphus. I find that very patronizing, but I often get that feeling from Dawkins.
