Richard Dawkins compared all "menial labourers" to Sisyphus. I find that very patronizing, but I often get that feeling from Dawkins.

That sounds typical of Dawkins. As if most labour doesn't actually have an end in mind, or that it is incapable of fulfilling some kind of goal.
